Welcome to Love Timeline ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
Love Timeline is a personal journal application designed to help users keep track of their dating history. We understand the sensitive nature of this data and have designed the App with privacy as a core principle.
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
All data you enter into Love Timeline — including names, photos, notes, dates, and any other information — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
The App may request access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to add photos to your entries. These photos are stored locally on your device within the App's private storage. They are not uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any external service.
The App offers an optional feature to link an entry to a phone contact. This requires your explicit permission. When you use this feature, the App reads only the specific contact you select. It does not scan, copy, or transmit your contact list.
The App offers optional biometric authentication (fingerprint, Face ID) as a security feature. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. The App never accesses, stores, or transmits biometric data. We only receive a success/failure response from the operating system.
Love Timeline offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions. All purchase transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store any payment information. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy or Apple's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle purchase data.
Love Timeline is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are under 17, please do not use this App.
We take the security of your data seriously. The App provides optional security features including PIN protection and biometric authentication to prevent unauthorized access to your data. Since all data is stored locally, the security of your data also depends on the security of your device.
You have full control over your data at all times:
The App contains optional links to external social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) that you may enter. When you tap these links, you will be directed to the respective third-party website or app. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
Since we do not collect any personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are exercised directly by you through the App itself. You have complete control over all data stored in the App.
